Octobertest

Come September and the fall colors fly into our lives. And with those fallen leaves come scattered memories. Nostalgia is the next big visual emotion most of us go through at some point in our lives. That goose bump which reminds you of every little drop of emotion, that little shiver down the spine, that solitary tear or that lump in the throat all point to one thing – if only you could relive that moment again.

In life however, magic doesnt happen twice. People try all sorts of things to recreate magic but it just doesnt happen. Take film stars for example. they try to make comebacks with the eternal hope that they will be able to connect just the way they did before…but more often than not it falls flat – a moment lost in time never really comes back.

Why then do we crave to hold those moments with us? Why do we feel such a sense of attachment when we know it is not going to last forever? The human mind is sometimes more tilted towards emotions than logic. Some say, thats what differentiates us from machines – we defy logic to chose to get hurt all over again. Some poet had once said, in life two plus two does not always add up to four, so for those wise men of the world, O lord give them some innocence.

For those who ended September on a sombre note, wake up its October now and the true test will be to stop wanting to be in nostalgia and move on with life.Wake up now that September has ended ,its truly going to be an October Test.

Cheers
